French particularity: at the signature of the simple contract, the buyer is asked for a deposit placed in an escrow account with a notary corresponding to 5 % of the total amount of the sale.

Agency fees are due by the buyer or by the seller as indicated in the mandate and are included to the presentation price.

  • - From 0 to 700 000 € : 7% vat included
  • - From 700 000 € to 900 000 € : 6% vat included
  • - More than 900 000€: 5% vat included
• Amount for wine estates: 5% (taxes) vat excluded - 5,98% (all taxes) vat included.

Agency fees should be paid at the signature of the notarial deed, on production of our invoice, by check or wire to Bordeaux Sotheby´s International Realty. Keys of your new home are now yours in the respect of the contract conditions.
